The Mercedes G-Class has officially gone electric with the G580 EQ Technology, maintaining its iconic, boxy silhouette while introducing a revolutionary four-motor electric drivetrain. This EV variant promises superior off-road capability compared to its combustion engine predecessors, boasting enhanced wading depth and advanced torque vectoring through its virtual differentials. The vehicle integrates a substantial 116 kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP range of over 470 km (approx. 290 miles), with the potential for significantly more range during off-road driving due to efficient gearing and high recuperation.
