The 2024 DS 7, a facelifted version of the original DS 7 Crossback, presents a stylish exterior with updated LED lighting and a refined rear. Inside, the cabin boasts new materials, an improved infotainment system, and voice recognition, aiming for a premium, boutique hotel ambiance. However, its premium positioning comes with a significant price tag. The vehicle is exclusively offered in diesel and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants, with no pure petrol option. The PHEV models offer around 40 miles of electric range and support charging from a 7kW wallbox in under two hours. The Active Scan Suspension enhances comfort on smoother surfaces, though the range-topping 355bhp AWD variant is noted for a harsh ride and a confused identity. The DS 7 is positioned against rivals like the Audi Q3 and BMW X1, but offers a more distinctive, left-field appeal.
