The 2020 Hyundai Ioniq receives a significant refresh, focusing on its electric variant with a larger 38.3 kWh battery, extending the range to an estimated 170 miles. This update also boosts horsepower and torque, and improves the onboard charger and fast-charging capabilities. While the hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions retain their powertrains, all Ioniq models benefit from updated exterior styling, including new grilles and fascias, and a more noticeable interior revision with a new instrument panel and standard 8-inch infotainment display. The vehicle comes standard with Hyundai's SmartSense safety suite. Although pricing for the Electric model wasn't released, the Hybrid and Plug-In variants saw price increases. The refresh offers a more competitive package, particularly for the EV version, despite not being a full redesign.
