The 2025 Polestar 3 Long Range Dual Motor presents a compelling package with impressive driving dynamics and a spacious interior, but is marred by frustrating quirks. The reviewer praises the vehicle's agile styling, comfortable and feature-rich Nappa leather seats (with the optional package), and the excellent Bowers & Wilkins sound system. The handling is highlighted as a standout, with the torque-vectoring rear differential providing exceptional rotation and agility, making it one of the best-handling crossovers in its segment, even surpassing some luxury competitors. The real-world range of 302 miles on 22-inch wheels is also commendable. However, significant drawbacks include the inconvenient key card system (lacking a traditional fob), a minimalistic and sometimes buggy infotainment system with unlabelled capacitive touch controls, and the unacceptable cost-cutting on the window switches in a vehicle of this price. While the Polestar 3 offers strong performance and a premium feel, its usability issues and software glitches, particularly in early production models, make it a less compelling value proposition compared to competitors like the Genesis GV70 Electrified and Cadillac Lyriq.
