While acknowledging the increased horsepower and torque, they note it's often not necessary for daily driving or in traffic, and the power limitation after a short burst hasn't been a significant issue in their experience. Despite the GT PE's advantages on spirited drives, they maintain that any Mach-E trim offers a fantastic experience, and the decision to upgrade was influenced by a good trade-in deal. A future road trip to California will test the GT PE's range against the Premium AWD Extended Range model.
