Its striking design, comfortable front seats with ventilation, and exceptionally fast DC charging capabilities (10-80% in 18 minutes, 10-100% in under 45 minutes) were significant highlights. The consistent performance across various state-of-charge levels, even in cold weather, and the useful vehicle-to-load adapter were also praised. However, the reviewer noted drawbacks including limited rear seat and cargo space due to the low-slung styling, a lack of a front trunk, and a somewhat cramped feeling for taller passengers due to reduced headroom. The infotainment system's climate control integration was a point of contention, often leading to accidental mode changes. While the charging speed is impressive, compatibility issues with Tesla Magic Docks were mentioned. The pricing, especially without the federal tax credit for outright purchases, makes it a less attractive proposition compared to competitors like the Model Y, despite the EV6's advantages in features like a real instrument cluster and HUD.
