The 2025 XPeng G6 receives a mid-cycle refresh with notable updates to its exterior styling, including a new full-width LED light strip and revised bumpers. Inside, the infotainment screen grows to 15.6 inches, complemented by a 10.5-inch digital instrument cluster and improved AI integration for semi-autonomous driving. Battery capacity sees a slight increase for the entry-level LFP pack (66 kWh to 68.5 kWh) and a decrease for the NMC pack (87.5 kWh to 80.8 kWh). While WLTP range figures are quoted as 625 km for the base and 725 km for the larger pack, the video notes a decrease for the latter compared to previous figures. The rear-mounted motor is more powerful at 218 kW in Chinese models, though the dual-motor AWD version is not yet confirmed for the Chinese market. XPeng emphasizes improved fit and finish, aiming to reduce panel gaps. The G6's dimensions remain similar to the Tesla Model Y. An eventual Australian arrival is anticipated, potentially coinciding with a performance AWD version later this year.
