The 2024 GMC Hummer EV 3X SUV is presented as a luxurious and capable electric vehicle, though not without its compromises. Reviewers praise its striking exterior design, comfortable and well-appointed interior with premium materials and rose gold accents, and the surprisingly agile handling thanks to four-wheel steering and a low center of gravity. The electric powertrain delivers exhilarating acceleration, making the large SUV feel much smaller than its size suggests. However, the vehicle's practicality is questioned due to its immense size, making parking cumbersome despite the advanced camera systems and four-wheel steering. The "WTF" mode offers thrilling 0-60 mph times, but the real-world range falls significantly short of EPA estimates, with the vehicle consuming electrons at a rate comparable to a gas-guzzling Hummer.
