QUESTIONS, COFFEE & CARS #134 // HONDA CIVIC HYBRID OR TOYOTA CAMRY?

EV Channels Review

In this episode of Questions, Coffee & Cars, the Motormouth hosts tackle a diverse range of automotive queries. A key discussion point is the comparison between the Honda Civic Hybrid and the Toyota Camry. While one host favors the Camry for its proven reliability and suitability for long-term ownership, the other passionately advocates for the new Civic Hybrid, citing its engaging driving dynamics and youthful appeal. The hosts also touch upon the Golf R versus GTI debate, generally recommending the Golf R for its all-wheel-drive capabilities and increased power, provided the budget allows. Other topics include the ride comfort of subcompact SUVs, the merits of GM's Google-based infotainment, the questionable value of older used Ford Escapes, and the Subaru Crosstrek versus Impreza, where they highlight the shared platform and advise opting for the larger engine. The episode concludes with a discussion on midsize trucks, expressing a preference for the Ford Ranger and Chevrolet Colorado over the Jeep Gladiator, while noting the rising prices in the segment.
