AEHRA, a new Italian automotive brand, has officially launched its first electric vehicle, an ultra-premium SUV. The design, spearheaded by Filippo Perini, emphasizes emotionality, cabin space, and advanced materials, moving beyond mere performance metrics. The vehicle aims to offer a dual personality, capable of supercar performance yet comfortable as a saloon. Key selling points include a full composite material structure for significant weight savings, enabling a target range of 800 kilometers, and advanced aerodynamics. The design inspiration draws from aeronautics and wing profiles, featuring unique elements like camera-based wing mirrors inspired by racing motorbikes and a world-first four-door supercar-style door opening for enhanced ingress/egress. While performance figures like 550-600 kW power output are targeted, AEHRA prioritizes design, emotion, and practicality over extreme acceleration. A sedan variant and a 2+2 model are also planned, all stemming from the same platform. The brand is focused on production readiness, with a strong team of experienced Italian designers.
