After one year of ownership, the Fisker Ocean One presents a mixed but ultimately positive ownership experience for the reviewer. The exterior and interior design are consistently praised as beautiful and well-executed, feeling akin to a European SUV. The driving dynamics, acceleration, and handling are also highlighted as strong points. Positives include the comfortable "Mala" interior, the functional California mode, and the emerging utility of Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging. However, the ownership journey has been marred by significant software issues that have since been largely resolved with updates, and the lack of promised features like one-pedal driving, adaptive cruise control, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto remains a disappointment. The absence of a warranty due to the company's financial situation is a major concern. Despite these drawbacks and the acknowledgment of significant issues faced by other owners (bricked cars, lemons), the reviewer finds the current 2.2 software update sufficient for confidence in long trips and intends to keep the vehicle.
