The reviewers acknowledge its strong fuel economy, estimated at 37 mpg combined by the EPA, and its utility for light tasks like hauling mulch or trips to the dump. However, significant drawbacks are noted. The hybrid model is exclusively front-wheel drive, which is seen as a major limitation for towing or navigating slippery conditions. The Lariat trim tested, priced at over $32,000, is considered expensive, with criticism directed at the high destination fee.
