The 2021 Kia Stinger receives a significant mechanical update, particularly for the North American market, with the base 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine replacing the previous 2.0-liter. This new engine offers a substantial boost to 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, making it a more compelling alternative to performance sedans. The GT model retains its 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 but gains a slight power increase to 303 horsepower thanks to a new active exhaust system. Both models continue to offer rear-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations. Interior updates include the availability of Highway Driving Assist and a blind-spot view monitor. While specific pricing and exact market availability for the new engine are still pending, the Stinger is set to go on sale in Korea in Q3 and elsewhere later this year, promising a more potent and refined package.
