The MG 4 XPower, with its dual motors producing 435hp and AWD, surprisingly holds its own against the more established supercars. In standing quarter-mile races, the MG 4 and GT-R both completed the distance in 12 seconds, with the GT-R winning by a nose, while the Gallardo finished in 13 seconds. The MG 4's electric torque provides a significant advantage off the line, often jumping ahead. However, in rolling races from 30 and 50 mph, the GT-R's power and torque ultimately allowed it to reel in and pass the MG 4, demonstrating the limitations of the MG's top-end speed compared to its rivals.
