They find the 6.2L V8, despite its horsepower, feels underpowered in the heavy truck, attributing this to emissions tuning and the Dynamic Fuel Management system, which also results in a less desirable exhaust note. The Multimatic DSSV shocks are praised for their capability in off-roading, though noted as slightly stiff for on-road use. The Bose audio system is described as having power but lacking crispness. A significant point of contention is the floor shifter, which they feel takes up unnecessary space compared to a column shifter or a rotary dial like Ram's. Ultimately, while acknowledging the AT4-X is a more refined Silverado ZR2, they suggest the Denali might be a better choice for the price.
