2026 TESLA MODEL 2 $15,990 FINALLY SPOTTED AT GIGA TEXAS! NEW GLASS UPGRADE!

EV Channels Review

The 2026 Tesla Model 2, spotted at Giga Texas, is presented as a revolutionary yet affordable EV. The video highlights a significant upgrade to transparent aluminum glass, inspired by Starship technology, promising enhanced durability and scratch resistance, though this raises concerns about maintaining the $15,990 price point. The Model 2 is described as a simplified Model Y, featuring a minimalist design, conventional headlights, and standard doors to cut costs. Two variants are detailed: a standard range model with an LFP battery and basic interior, and a long-range model with a larger battery, AWD, and improved cabin features, priced around $25,000. The review emphasizes Tesla's competitive edge against rivals like BYD due to its established ecosystem, Supercharger network, and advanced software, including standard FSD hardware. The primary question remains whether the advanced materials will push the price beyond the initial affordable target.
