The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV, as presented by its chief engineer, is a radical reimagining of the pickup truck, built on an all-new Ultium skateboard platform, sharing no components with its gasoline counterpart. This EV-native architecture allows for a low center of gravity, independent rear suspension with available air suspension and rear-steering on the RST trim, promising enhanced ride quality and nimbleness.
