Dave from Out of Spec Dave has decided to sell his Lucid Air, citing charging infrastructure as the primary reason. He expresses frustration with stations being down and the lack of clear direction from Lucid regarding NACS adoption and Tesla Supercharger support. Beyond the charging woes, Dave highlights several 'wishlist' items, including a poorly implemented wireless charger, inconvenient USB port placement, and limitations in the infotainment system's ability to display multiple navigation sources or song information simultaneously. He also notes slow profile switching, issues with sun visor design, jerky low-speed driving, subpar speakerphone audio quality, and the absence of a 'Dog Mode'. While recognizing that many software-related issues could be fixed, Dave expresses disappointment that features like lane centering on lane changes, a key selling point of the expensive Dream Drive Pro package, are still not fully implemented, drawing a comparison to Tesla's more readily available Autopilot features.
