AVOID SPOOKY EV PROBLEMS THIS HALLOWEEN

EV Channels Review

This video offers practical advice for EV owners to avoid common 'nightmares,' presented with a light-hearted, Halloween-themed approach. The presenter, Nikki Gordon-Bloomfield, covers crucial topics such as maintaining the 12-volt battery, especially in colder weather, and the importance of planning routes with charging buffers to account for broken or incompatible charging stations. The video also highlights the necessity of carrying tire repair kits or portable inflation devices due to the rarity of spare tires in EVs. Additionally, it touches upon the importance of maintaining adequate ground clearance to protect the vehicle's undercarriage and battery pack. While the tone is informal and includes humorous asides, the core advice is sound and aimed at preventing real-world EV ownership issues. The inclusion of a guest, Chimmy Chang, adds a conversational element, though some segments feel more like personal anecdotes than direct advice.
