Volvo's presence at the NY Electrify Expo 2025 is marked by a dual focus: celebrating 70 years in the US market and showcasing their evolving electric and plug-in hybrid lineup. The brand utilizes an impressive mobile studio bus to detail its rich history, particularly emphasizing safety innovations like the three-point seatbelt, and honoring long-standing retailers and customer stories. Outside, the EX30 Cross Country is highlighted as a compact electric SUV with off-road enhancements, available in single and twin-motor variants for 2026, with the latter featuring rear-wheel drive. The EX40, a larger electric SUV, and the flagship three-row EX90, assembled in South Carolina, are also featured. For those not yet ready for full electric, the XC60 and XC90 plug-in hybrids are presented, with the XC60 set to begin production in South Carolina for the 2026 model year, both receiving updated touchscreens. Volvo's commitment extends to social causes, with a long-standing partnership with Alex's Lemonade Stand and a portion of each sale benefiting the charity, alongside a popular in-house coffee bar.
