Edmunds puts the new 2024 Porsche Macan Electric through its paces, finding it to be a comfortable and technologically advanced luxury SUV with impressive range and charging capabilities. However, the "4" trim level disappoints in performance metrics, lagging behind competitors and even its gasoline predecessor in acceleration and braking. While the driving dynamics on the road are refined, with excellent steering feel and a quiet cabin, the lack of outright speed is a significant drawback, especially given the nearly $100,000 price tag.
