Faced with extensive and costly repairs, the team makes a pragmatic, albeit unconventional, decision: they purchase a second G-Wiz, 'Barry', for £275. Barry, despite not having an MOT since 2012, is in significantly better condition. The team then proceeds to transplant key components, including batteries and the windscreen, from Gary to Barry, effectively using Gary as a donor vehicle. Barry subsequently passes its MOT with flying colours, much to the team's surprise and delight. The review highlights the significant disparity in condition between the two vehicles and the creative, if somewhat destructive, approach to vehicle repair and restoration.
