The reviewer conducted a 100-mile round trip, first without the caravan and then with it. The results were stark: while the iX M60 achieved a respectable 2.8 miles per kWh on its own (though the reviewer expected more), towing the caravan drastically reduced efficiency to 1.4 miles per kWh, consuming 64% of the battery for the same distance the car used 32% without the trailer. A significant practical issue highlighted was the difficulty of charging with a caravan attached, as EV chargers at service stations were inaccessible.
