Cadillac is set to significantly expand its electric vehicle offerings in Australia with the confirmation of the 2026 Optiq and Vistiq SUVs. The Optiq, positioned as a gateway luxury EV, will feature a dual-motor AWD system, an 85 kWh battery, and an estimated 486 km EPA range, with DC fast charging adding 127 km in 10 minutes. It will compete in the premium compact SUV segment, with pricing expected to start under $100,000 AUD. The larger Vistiq, dubbed the 'baby Escalade,' will offer a 100 kWh battery for a 480 km EPA range, a more powerful 159 kW dual-motor AWD system, and will be one of the largest electric SUVs in Australia. While specific Australian pricing and specifications are yet to be confirmed, the Vistiq is anticipated to be priced around $150,000 AUD. Both models, along with a performance variant of the Lyric, will be manufactured in Mexico for right-hand drive markets, highlighting Cadillac's commitment to global expansion.
