The XPENG G6 presents a compelling package on paper, particularly its Long Range LFP battery and impressive 450 kW charging capability, which the reviewer confirms as a significant advantage for road trips. The interior offers some nice touches like ambient lighting and a digital rearview mirror, with ample rear passenger space. However, the driving experience is marred by several critical flaws. The reviewer finds the steering wheel awkwardly shaped and prone to accidental button presses, and the one-pedal driving (X-pedal) system is poorly calibrated, requiring a hard brake press to stop, which deviates from expected behavior.
