The interior, while stylish with its large circular display and unique toggle switches, features a surprising amount of hard plastics, a step down from the previous generation. The infotainment system, though visually appealing, can be distracting and lacks physical controls for climate. Despite these drawbacks, the Cooper SE offers a more competitive official range of up to 250 miles and a more refined driving feel. However, its premium price, especially with added options, places it against larger, more premium electric vehicles, making its value proposition questionable for some buyers.
