FASTEST CHARGING EVER! MEGAWATT CHARGING DEEP DIVE WITH ATLIS ENERGY SOLUTIONS

EV Channels Review

This video from Out of Spec Reviews provides an in-depth look at Atlis Energy Solutions' groundbreaking megawatt charging technology. The host, Kyle Conner, is clearly impressed, highlighting the unprecedented charging speeds demonstrated, exceeding 1.18 megawatts. A key takeaway is Atlis's proprietary 'Atlas Advanced' connector, developed to overcome limitations in existing standards like MCS, particularly its inability to handle high-power AC charging. The review praises Atlis's integrated ecosystem approach, encompassing not just charging hardware but also power electronics and battery management. While the demonstration primarily uses a Tesla Model S Plaid for context, the true capability is shown by charging a water load, boiling 1400 gallons of water. The reviewer notes the impressive thermal management of the water-cooled cable, which remains cool to the touch even under extreme load. The video effectively showcases Atlis's vision for future high-power charging infrastructure, emphasizing its flexibility with various power sources and its potential for grid integration.
