Tesla has officially launched the refreshed Model 3, codenamed 'Highland', in North America, bringing significant updates previously seen in the Shanghai release. Notably, it also includes a rear display for passengers and ventilated front seats, features now present across most Tesla models except the Model Y. The current North American release offers two trims: Rear-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive Long Range. The RWD model starts at $38,990 with an EPA range of 272 miles, while the Long Range AWD is priced at $45,988, offering an estimated 341 miles of range. Unfortunately, neither trim currently qualifies for the US federal tax credit due to rule changes at the start of the year.
