While the styling across the range is praised, particularly the Trailseeker's wagon-like appearance, the core specifications remain largely consistent. All models utilize a 74.7 kWh battery, with dual-motor setups offering 338 hp for the Solterra and Uncharted, and a more potent 375 hp for the Trailseeker, achieving 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds. However, range remains a point of contention, with the Trailseeker rated at 260 miles, and the Uncharted at 290 miles (with a limited-run FWD variant potentially reaching 300 miles). Charging peaks at 150 kW, resulting in a 10-80% charge time of around 30 minutes, which is considered not class-leading compared to some competitors. Interior space is ample, especially in the larger models, and features like rear reclining seats and a 1.5 kW AC outlet are noted. The shared Toyota interface is a direct carryover. While the platform sharing makes functional sense, the reviewer expresses a desire for more distinct Subaru engineering in future models, despite acknowledging the brand's loyal following and positive reputation.
