The 2025 Kia EV6 GT Line AWD receives a significant facelift, highlighted by a redesigned front fascia with a new DRL signature and a full-width 'unibrow' light bar. The most substantial upgrade is the increased battery capacity, moving from 77 kWh to 84 kWh net usable, promising improved range. A key convenience feature is the integration of a native NACS (Tesla) charging port, eliminating the need for adapters for Tesla Superchargers, though the car still includes adapters for J1772 and CCS. Testing revealed a highway range of approximately 400-458 km, falling short of the 515 km rated range but showing improvement over the previous model. Charging performance was notable, with the native NACS port achieving 120 kW at a Tesla Supercharger from 78% state of charge, outperforming a CCS session at Electrify Canada which peaked at 130 kW but ramped down quickly below 90 kW past 50%. The interior remains largely unchanged, with the exception of an electrically adjustable steering wheel. Performance is enhanced, with 0-100 km/h times dropping to around 4.5 seconds. Overall, the facelifted EV6 GT Line offers a compelling package with enhanced battery, charging convenience, and refined performance.
