This program leverages FreeWire's existing technology, which integrates battery storage within their 200kW Boost Charger Pro and Power Pro units. The integrated battery allows for faster charging, avoids expensive utility upgrades, and mitigates demand charges. The Accelerate Program offers a turnkey solution where FreeWire owns and operates the charging assets, including installation, maintenance, and marketing support. Site hosts benefit from a revenue share model, custom branding opportunities, and the option to purchase the stations after five years. This initiative aims to address the scarcity of reliable public DC fast chargers by making deployment more accessible, particularly for smaller sites or those with limited grid capacity.
