After three months of ownership, Dave provides an update on his wife's Genesis GV60 Performance. While acknowledging the car's luxurious interior, striking design, and comfortable ride, Dave highlights a few quirks. He found the user interface, particularly the auto-hold function and the need to manually turn the car on/off, to be less intuitive than expected, leading to minor embarrassments like a car wash incident. He also notes the lack of a 'dog mode' for his pet, Bailey, which is a feature he values in his Tesla. However, Dave praises the GV60's advanced driver-assistance systems (HDA), finding its lane-change implementation superior to Tesla's Autopilot in certain scenarios. He also commends the adjustable regenerative braking, the heads-up display, and the Bang & Olufsen sound system. While the GV60's range (mid-200s miles) is significantly less than his Tesla Model S, its rapid charging capability (pulling up to 241 miles at a 350kW charger) is a major plus. Overall, Dave finds the GV60 to be a great road-tripping car, albeit with a few usability points that require adjustment.
