Shmee noted the instant acceleration and strong performance, though he also highlighted the car's significant weight and the unique sensation of driving a fast EV without traditional engine noise. Tire pressures increased significantly, requiring adjustment between laps, but battery consumption was less than feared, with only 51% used over two laps at a decent pace. Overheating was not an issue. The verdict is positive: the Taycan Turbo S proved to be a very fast, capable, and surprisingly nimble machine at the 'Green Hell', validating Porsche's engineering and testing for this heavy EV.
